I am an illustrator and painter born and raised in WNY. While I never had formal training as an artist my interest in art started at a very early age. After taking a painting class along side my mother at a community art workshop at our local highschool my love of painting took off. I continued to learn through friends and fellow artists and have been painting for over 20 years. In addition I have organized community gallery crawls, art exhibits and participated in both solo and group exhibitions as well as donated art to support local community organizations fundraising efforts. It's fun for me to see my art translate into much needed dollars for an organization such as Autism Speaks or to see someone in the community just enjoying a necklace or bracelet made by Christine of BfloGALS and having it bring them joy and pride for the place they call home, Buffalo, NY. |
